I’m Stephanie Scott, a licensed therapist in California and Arizona. I'm here to create a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are and discover relief at your own pace.

As someone with lived experience of anxiety and OCD, I understand how isolating it can feel when your mind won’t quiet down, when you’re stuck in cycles of worry, rumination, or rituals that feel impossible to break. I also know the relief that comes from finding the right kind of treatment and I’m committed to helping my clients experience that same shift.

Many of the people I work with, both children and adults, arrive feeling exhausted from the invisible work of managing anxiety: fighting off intrusive thoughts, hiding compulsions, or avoiding triggers. Their goals are simple but deeply meaningful — to find peace of mind, to trust themselves, and to live freely without fear.

That’s where I come in. 

Together, we’ll create a safe, compassionate space where you can start loosening anxiety’s grip and moving toward the life you want.

My work is grounded in kindness, real connection, and evidence-based therapies like CBT, ERP, and EMDR. I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety, body dysmorphia, and eating disorders, and I also support clients healing from trauma and PTSD. 

My style is active and collaborative — I’ll challenge you when it’s helpful,

but always with care and compassion.

Therapy with me isn’t just a space to vent; it’s a space for growth and transformation. I’ll hold space for your fears while also helping you loosen their grip. And no, it doesn’t have to be miserable — there’s room for humor, connection, and real moments of relief along the way.

Eye Movement Desensitatization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a gentle therapy that helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they feel less overwhelming, allowing you to move forward with more peace and clarity.

While I specialize in ERP, CBT, and EMDR, therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I often integrate tools from other evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Behavioral Activation (BA), so your care is always tailored to your unique needs.

for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a highly effective therapy for OCD and related conditions, including anxiety and phobias. Together, we’ll take gradual steps toward your fears, while practicing how to resist compulsions. Over time, this process helps anxiety loosen its grip so you can feel more freedom and peace.
